Your files

Dropwheel converts and processes files entirely on your Mac. Files, their names and their contents are never sent anywhere.

License checks

Dropwheel connects to the internet only to manage your license, through our payment provider Lemon Squeezy:

• when you activate a key, it sends the key and your Mac’s name (as set in System Settings › General › Sharing), so you can see which Mac your key is active on;
• about once a week, it sends the key and the activation’s ID to check the license is still valid;
• when you deactivate a Mac, it sends the key and that activation’s ID.

The free trial makes no network connections. Dropwheel contains no analytics, tracking or advertising.

Buying

Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for Dropwheel: it processes your payment and invoice, and handles tax. It shares with us your name, email address, country and order details so we can support you. We never see your card details.
